All-new Toyota Land Cruiser may debut globally this August

Toyota may launch its 5th generation Land Cruiser Prado globally this August. Prado will be available in the US market for the first time, while in North America, it will be called Land Cruiser, and for others, it will remain the Land Cruiser Prado Moniker.
One detail remains the same from all teasers, it is definitely going to be based on their already-revealed SUV from Toyota’s own luxury division Lexus. Though there are several differences between both.
All new 5th gen land cruiser Prado and 3rd gen Lexus GX SUVs share the same TNGA-F platform and not only the structure but also some parts of interior and off-road assemblies as well.

Design:
On the front, the SUV will get a massive rectangular grille with a large Toyota badge, headlights look boxy also reminiscing early generations of land cruisers. The sides will get boxy and humongous front and rear fenders which look no different from the Lexus’s GX. At the back of the Land Cruiser Prado, the taillights got a retro design with clear lens treatment, and the tailgate is placed quite upright.

We can expect it in India?
We can expect a new Land Cruiser Prado in India if we see Toyota’s interest in the Indian market. We are getting cars from Toyota after their global launches as we got Toyota Vellfire just after its launch globally.
