Mercedes-AMG introducing AMG GT 43

Mercedes-AMG introducing AMG GT 43, an agile and dynamic addition to the AMG GT Coupe family. This new model is swapped with a 4.0 litre V8 to a lightweight 2.0 litre four-cylinder engine from the A45 S with 48-volt onboard electrical system, operating alongside a mild hybrid setup

The AMG 2.0-liter turbo engine produces 421 hp and 500 Nm of torque, equipped with the 9- speed transmission which powers rear wheels like GT63, the electric exhaust gas turbocharger, inspired by Formula 1 technology, ensures instant response across all speeds.

GT 43 has the top speed of 280 km/h and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, which one sec slower than the GT63, this new GT 43 weighs 120 kg less from its sibling GT63, it weighs 1775 kg’s and GT63 is 1895 kg’s.

Enhanced agility and stability, the AMG GT 43 offers optional active rear axle steering (HAL) which activates on 100 km/h, which adjusts the rear wheels based on vehicle speed. This feature enables agile handling at low speeds and increased stability at higher speeds, ensuring a dynamic driving experience in any situation.

The GT 43 may appeal to enthusiasts looking for a balance between performance and everyday usability, offering a more accessible entry point into the AMG GT range. On the other hand, the GT 63 targets buyers seeking uncompromising performance and luxury, with a focus on latest cars in India with high-end performance and technology.
