EICMA 2022- Honda CMX1100 gets touring genes.

Honda’s CMX1100 needs no introduction when it comes to the world of Bobber bikes, CMX1100 is totally an evolutionary bike by Honda but smartly Honda kept CMX1100 as it is and introduced a touring variant of CMX1100 named CMX1100T Rebel which is unveiled at the EICMA 2022.

CMX1100 mechanically remains the same as before except for the fresh paint scheme- Iridium Grey Metallic. However, the bigger highlight here is the new CMX1100T variant which supports a bagger style ‘Batwing’ half-fairing and hard case panniers.

Both CMX1100 and CMX1100T have the same heart a 1084cc, liquid-cooled parallel twin engine which we’ve already seen on the Africa Twin. But then it is tuned to suit CMX1100T’s touring character which makes 87ps of power and 98nm of torque and both variants will be offered in manual and DCT options. CMX1100T’s manual variant weighs 238kg and 248kg the DCT one.

Honda will soon launch the updated CMX1100 and CMX1100T Rebel in other markets, but unlikely it will not come for Indian customers.
