Maruti Suzuki EECO gets a heart transplant, previously the engine which is been given in the EECO was a 1.2 G series engine but strictly implementing the new emission regulations- the Real Driving Emissions (RDE) norms, now the company has decided to give 1.2-litre K-series engine in the new EECO which produce 81PS of power and 104.4Nm of torque.
In CNG mode it is capable to produce 72 of power and 95Nm of torque. Maruti Suzuki says it returns a mileage of 19.71 kmpl on petrol, meanwhile, the CNG variant will return a mileage of 26.78kg/km. Transmission remains the same as before.
Although the feature list is too long for the EECO, it gets a new Digital instrument cluster same as we have already seen on S-presso and Celerio. A/C controls are changed to rotary knobs from a sliding mechanism. Also, the new paint scheme introduced Metallic Brisk Blue which replaced Cerulean Blue.
