Tata punch EV revealed in the Indian car market which is the fourth all electric vehicle and second all-electric SUV by tata motors. Tata Punch is first model based on gen 2 EV architecture which Tata calls ACTI.EV. Tata Punch will be available on Tata’s EV only outlets soon. It can be booked on showrooms and online as well with the booking amount of 21000/- INR.

Exterior-

All new Tata Punch is cosmetically inspired from its sibling Nexon EV. Front bumper and grille get an updated design similar to Nexon EV. Both ends connected to vertical light-bar which is a DRL similar to Nexon EV only, split headlamp setup, and main headlamp cluster is similar to Nexon EV. Tata Punch EV gets front charging socket which is first in Tatas EV lineup, in the front bottom part there is vertical plastic trims on lower grille above the Faux silver skid plate.

Rear it gets a fidget shaped tail lamp, a roof mounted spoiler, Dual tone bumper. Rolling on 16-inch alloys with all four discs unlike gas power ICE tata punch. Also, it is the first EV by to offer Frunk.

Interior-

10.25-inch infotainment screen surrounded by layered dashboard design with highlight, illuminated two spoke steering wheel borrowed from other updated tata cars. Lower variants are offered with 7.0-inch digital touchscreen infotainment screen, rotary drive selector same as Nexon EV will be limited to only Long-Range variants.

Range/Economy-

Two variants are on offer

-Standard with 25kWh battery pack

-Long-Range with 35kWh battery pack

3.3 kw AC charger will be offer as standard and latter 7.2 kw AC charger which supports DC Fast Charging will be offer additionally, Tata Punch, will run 300 to 400 km approx. totally depending upon the Variant and Battery pack. Break regeneration with multi-modes is present in the Punch.

Features-

360-degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto hold, ventilated front seats, Leatherette seats, Wireless charger, Cruise control, Connected Car Tech and new Arcade EV App, all these features above are only limited top end Tata Punch EV. Sunroof is offered as an option. Some features which are offered in the All-new Punch are first in segment.

Safety-

No doubt, Tata Punch is one of the safest (considering the price point) amongst all EV’s which are offered in India, it is equipped with 6 Airbags, ABS (anti-lock braking system), ESC (electronic stability control) as Standard, and Blind spot Monitoring system, three-point seat belts for passengers, Isofix-child mounts and SOS function.

Tata Punch will be offered Five standard variants- Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, Empowered+

and three Long-range variants- Adventure, Smart, Empowered
